Is the fake grass toxic to cats who may try to eat it?

The faux-grass on this toy is not edible.
Where can I buy the smaller blue balls that come inside of this ????

At this time, the manufacturer does not offer replacement balls for this toy.
This toy has so much potential! BUT after reading reviews, some of my fears were addressed. I worry about the cats eating the fake grass (like w/sisal). &Some cat WILL undoubtedly use it as a potty- I could adapt the "bed" style cardboard kind to hold toys - Anyone have any ideas on this?

Please supervise your pet while they enjoy this toy to ensure they do not eat the grass. Your presence can also help reduce the chances of your cats using this toy as a potty. When they are not playing with it you could stow it elsewhere to avoid these hazards.
Will the regular size balls with bells and then work in this box?

PERFECT AND AMAZING!!!!
I have one older cat and one kitten. They both LOVE THIS!!! It’s sturdy enough to hold my older cat (22 pound Mainecoon) who loves to just lay on it. My kitten loves to play with the jingle balls inside it!! It works as a scratching post for both of them, and they seem to love the grassy feel! I will put treats or catnip inside it and they will spend forever trying to get it out! Sprinkle catnip on the top and they won’t leave it alone!! The fake grass is wonderful in the winter when my cats can’t go outside and can get bored. 10/10 I would recommend this to EVERY cat owner!!!!

Great toy for my cat
My cat is usually outside hunting vermin but in the winter she chooses to stay inside but can go stir crazy. This toy was great to keep her mind stimulated through the winter months. Only thing is she wouldn't use it unless I sprayed it with catnip spray. The sawdust kind of catnip that came with it was ineffective.

Not for cats
This scratcher toy was loved by my 4 cats too much ! It took just 1 day to find the "grass" in someone's poop. So they were eating it. I had to throw it away after 1 day of their enjoyment :(

First time purchase
This toy seems like a good concept, but if the cardboard gets compacted, the balls can't move. It is too light to be used as a scratcher. The cats mostly just rub against it and sit on it.

Hide & Seek Time
Rocky is a senior and a rescue with what would appear to be few experiences with toys like this one. Primarily sedentary, he has attempted to find the squirrely jingle balls on several occasions, I think, because he can crouch down and reach in. The fake grass is a nice touch, but I don't think it matters much to Rocky. If he decides this is more a decoration than a toy, I have a neighbor with less than year old kittens who might inherit it!

My cats LOVE this!
All of my cats are absolutely obsessed with this toy. I’m going to buy two more to give as gifts to my friends with cats! The balls can come out if you have a persistent cat, as other reviews have stated, but I just pop them back in. It would be nice if they were a little larger (or came with replacements in case they get forever lost), but I am still elated with this toy! As are my cats! HIGHLY recommend.

Crack for cats
My cat goes crazy over this box. She’s only 6 months old and has so much energy, so this toy has been a lifesaver when we are too tired to play with her. The balls do escape easily but 9 times out of 10 they are under the sofa or bed and are easily put back in. Eventually it does deteriorate since it is cardboard, but it’s the best toy we’ve ever bought her so far. Totally recommend!

My Tortie loves this
If you have a hyperactive, insatiable and judgemental cat like I do, this is a great product. Our Seven loves to stick both front paws in the holes and go crazy, definitely worth it and a good price

cat played with 1st day
my cat played with it one day and walked away. if you have a playful cat, your experience will be different than mine. i was actually shocked my cat didnt play with it much. idk if its because the ball is hidden at times inside or what.
