  1. A nifty place to visit however would probably be better in the spring or summer. Many botanical gardens connected with a theme of showing you about the world. Lots of benches to rest although the park is not too large connected to the Jordan River trail so you can detour out and explore as well.

  2. If you go make sure to bring sun flowers seeds for the squirrels. They literally come right up to you. And enjoy the quiet walk through the peace gardens.

  3. The bike polo courts are great play hockey with friends here regularly then play softball after. The softball field is decent but have never played league or tournaments; don’t know about it’s manicured quality. There’s an awesome skate park made in a old swimming pool!!!!
And the international peace garden is a must visit.

Great dog park. Fully fenced. Lots of things for them to play on and lots of places to sit while your dog socializes with other dogs. Place was full of friendly people and mostly good mannered dogs. Lots of mature trees line the south side of the park for shade. Also has a dog drinking fountain. We thought that was really great.

This is a really great, spacious dog park for dogs who like to socialize. It’s pretty populated, so I would not bring a reactive dog here who may need their own space.

We enjoyed our 1st visit here. I’m not a total fan of gravel for the dogs to run in because it tears up their pads, but overall it is still a nice big area for dogs to run and play. They provide poop bags so you have ZERO excuses to not clean up after you pooch! If I remember correctly I also seen water for them.

Great dog park. Most everyone and their pets are great and friendly. You of course have your dogs that get bossy and in their feelings but overall everyone is really on top of their dogs behaviors. They have a few agility items for dogs to jump over and run up, And lots of space to run.

Plenty of space near the ballfield for doggies to run and play. It seems to be my shitzu’s favorite park. Usually a half dozen or more dogs in a space plenty big for 2-3 dozen.

This park is great and has fantastic views of the valley. It’s right next to an off-leash dog park and the historic Salt Lake Cemetery, which is a fun place to walk and see some of the many laid to rest in this beautiful area.(Photos from March 2014).

Awesome views of salt lake valley. Tons of field space for dogs to run. Fun jungle gym playground, and nice clean OPEN restrooms 🙂

Great dog park. It has a ton of space and different areas for the dogs to play. It’s clean and the grass is maintened. There’s no fence, but the area is big enough that even my puppy doesn’t bother running off, and I’ve never seen anyone else either. I’ve tried a lot of dog parks and this is my favorite

My first trip to the off leash area at Lindsey Gardens. The ground was a smooth cover of mud, snow and the skeletons of grass and weeds from last summer. All in all perfect for my long legged Border doodle ♥. A few people and dogs stopped in to play, sniff each other and move on. Nice interactions, good people from the neighborhood 👍. It seemed very clean but poop could be hiding in unmelted snow ❄ just waiting! I totally recommend the off-leash section of Lindsey Gardens. Plenty of room to stretch out those legs and really have fun. I was there at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all. I’m sure it gets very busy a little later. Stay within the boundaries for leash and off-leash areas and please, please clean up after your dog. 🎉🤎⚘🐾 Enjoy!!

We live in the avenues and this is the best playground park in the area. The equipment is very climbing oriented, but my six year old loves climbing! There’s a dog park on the lower sections, which can be annoying with the mix of strange dogs and young children. Lots of baseball fields. Immediately adjacent to a cemetery, though there’s no direct way to access it (unless you like jumping chain link fences). The picnic area is pretty big and under good shelter, and the bathrooms are in the same place.
